so i work for a japanese company called tokyo electron as a programmer. because of my love for design, and all things artistic i love to hang out with the marketing group and help out with projects occasionally. a couple of weeks ago, the marketing department tried to hire me within as the graphics designer for the entire US region. wow, it was such a huge decision to make. i really wanted to be the cool designer who flies to japan to take corporate photos and design booth graphics, but i also was really getting into the whole java development and making great strides in my programming skills. i finally decided to stay with the programming for a couple more years and continue to satisfy my design needs with side projects. Then Yesterday... I found out that our IS department needs me so bad that they probably weren't going to let me transfer anyway. wow, all that stress for nothing. but it sure is cool that two departments that utilize opposite sides of the brain both have such a great interest in me!!
